School Is Over

School is finally over for the year. I can't believe it. I have now been teaching for a year and four months. Looking back, there were times when I really didn't think I was going to make it but God is so good. He has really helped me. The end of this year came last friday. Now all I have left is the picnic and the awards night. My kids all said goodbye and it was a sad time. But yet, as wild as the end of the school year has been, I am also glad for it to be over. The kids had spring fever and I admit I did to.

Jordan and Jamie just graduated this past Saturday from GBS. I was so happy for them. They finally made it! LOL It was a nice ceremony and not overly long as some are. I was so proud of them. It was worth the trip over there to see them graduate.

So what else is happening? Well, now that I am finished school I will be traveling for EFM and doing deputation services. I will also be headed to SIMO (missionary training) in PA on June 18. Between now and then I will be heading home for the week of Memorial Day for a little R and R. So its going to be a busy summer with traveling. Maria Hunsaker is going to be traveling with me. So we already have quite a bit lined up for us. I am looking forward to it. And then this August I leave for LANGUAGE SCHOOL!!! I am so excited yet a little nervous at the same time. I know that this what God has for me but its just so amazing. I can't believe its really here. No official day has been set to leave but will post it when I find out.

So that is whats been going on in my life. I hope to post again soon cause Mark, Steve, Cindy and I are going to play Rook tomorrow. If you don't read anything, then everyone will know it didn't bode well for Mark and I. Though I hope we stomp the Matlock Duo. It will give them one less thing to brag about. :-)

Well, 2 out of 4 was pretty good - at least we stayed in the lead in the total games won so far :-) Thanks again for the cake and card!

It has been so neat having you at our church and school. I can't believe the year is already over! I had fun working with you here and there too. I am so glad you, Cindy, Steve and Mark have been able to have so much fun together! I know everyone will miss each other. I am so glad for blogs so that even when you leave we can still keep up with you.
Love ya!
