Vacationing with my Family

I haven't written in a while. I have been on the road for the last two weeks or so. Since I last wrote, I have moved out of my apartment in Bedford, traveled to eight different states, received training in ACE and moved back home. As you can see, I have been very busy. I was glad to get home though sad to move out of Bedford. I really enjoyed living there and met some great people.

Well, I got home but didn't stay there for long. We are vacationing out in Arizona. My family rented a huge Chevy Suburban and drove 25 hours. It was a long trip but we got to see parts of our country that we had never seen before. I think the best part was in New Mexico. The towering plateaus and rock formations were amazing. It looked like someone had twisted rocks into different shapes and forms then set them back into the ground. The trip took FOREVER!!!! There were six of crammed into this car and my dad driving like he thought he was a Nascar driver or something. But we made it finally. Its around 104 degress here but it doesn't feel like it. The dry heat makes it somewhat better. We are renting a house for a few days here in Cotttonwood, AZ. Its near Phoenix. Its a nice house and it has been very relaxing just chillin' here.

Tomorrow we are going to Sedona where my parents are planning some big surprise for us. We can't wait to find out what it is. Later this week we are going to the Grand Canyon and rafting down the Colorado River. We are having a blast so far.

When I saw "Cottonwood," I hoped you'd be able to get to the red-rock country of Sedona. Beautiful country around there! And Oak Creek Canyon to the north is very pretty, too.

You guys didn't go very far away for vacation, huh? :-)
